Music To Grow On provides music therapy services for older adults in retirement communities, long-term care facilities, and memory care units, as well as general health centers.

Music To Grow On currently provides music therapy to to the residents of University Retirement Community (Davis, CA) and St. John’s Retirement Village (Woodland, CA).

Music Therapy can provide the following:

Stress and tension relief

Fine and gross motor movement to music

Reminiscence activities

Reality orientation

Instrument playing and singing

Social interaction

Improved quality of life

Music Therapy for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities

Music To Grow On provides music therapy for adults (18+ years) with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs.

Music To Grow On currently provides services to the California MENTOR Northern Regional OfficeEnriching Lives, and Aacres California.

Music Therapy can provide the following:

Opportunities for emotional expression

Fine and gross motor movement to music

Quality of life improvement

Instrument playing opportunities

Therapeutic singing

Leisure skills
